PROGRAMS PROVIDED BY PTA FUNDRAISING:
We’re already busy planning our next school year and are getting excited all over again! Please remember to join our PTA next year and be an active participant to help us continue to provide our students with the great programs and activities that make Rosedell a top-notch school in the Santa Clarita Valley.
PTA, our families and staff have gone to great lengths this year to make our fundraising efforts successful! We know it’s A LOT to ask of our families and appreciate all the generous donations and participation in our many fundraising endeavors during these tough economic times. However, we continue to work hard to provide the BEST for our children at Rosedell despite the budget challenges and our own economic challenges. I wanted to summarize what all our efforts accomplished this school year, so I asked PTA to help me list all the AMAZING goals we’ve set and met this year!

- Performing Arts Center Partnership – High quality “bus-in” and Rosedell-based assemblies/programs for ALL grades. These experiences are unique to Rosedell since we get to choose from all the assemblies and programs prior to other schools!
- Assemblies – Additional assemblies, such as BMX for health/anti-drug awareness, Retro Bill and Retro Bill Family Night for anti-bullying, Visit with Great African Americans for Black History Month, Crayon Court for kindergarteners and MANY more.
- Grade Level Field Trips- Each grade attends one field trip or special assembly (i.e. Ronald Regan Library, Van Nuys Airport, SCV Tour, Rancho Cumolous, K-StoryTeller etc.)
- Technology – New state of the art Computer Lab last August and our last Smartboard and projector in the Resource room was purchased and installed this year. This completes our goal of having every class with smartboard technology at the teachers and students’ fingertips (unless new classes are assigned to Rosedell). Our last smartboard/projector has been installed and currently every classroom, the lab and the resource classrooms all have smartboards!
